About the Project

BRIGHT-EU - Jean Monnet Teacher Training Project

Overview

The BRIGHT-EU project aims to convey the institutions, values, and policies of the European Union to teachers through digital content and materials, in harmony with our national curriculum.

Sakarya University became the first university in Turkey to receive Jean Monnet Teacher Training Support. The project will last 3 years with a grant of 300,000 Euros.

Objectives

  • Increase teachers' awareness of EU institutions, values, and policies
  • Develop modern teaching methods with digital content and materials
  • Harmonize national curriculum with EU values
  • Strengthen cooperation by bringing together different stakeholders
